He has also been a project leader for several small molecule and biologics project teams. In 2002, he became a Principal Scientist and in 2011 moved to Gothenburg, as part of the formation of the iMed for Respiratory and Inflammation and Autoimmunity. Since moving to Gothenburg, he has led teams carrying out target validation and biomarker discovery.
His research interest include G551D cystic fibrosis mice exhibit abnormal regulation of inflammation in lungs and macrophages
