Stacey Evans joined the Oklahoma Geological Survey as a Research Geologist in late 2014. Her primary focus is petroleum geology. She is currently researching the Caney Shale in the Ardmore and Arkoma Basins, which will result in a publication and workshop. Prior to joining the OGS, she gained experience as a petroleum geologist working in the Anadarko Basin, the Permian Basin, and the Gulf of Mexico shelf. Other professional interests include sedimentology, diagenesis, and paleomagnetism.
