Biography

Sofia Marmon is a researcher at the Department of Plant Breeding in Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences.She completed Post doc at Dept. of Plant Biochemistry, Georg-August-University, Göttingen, Germany and PhD in Bioscience from Chalmers University of Technology, Gothenburg, Sweden. She did Master of Science in Chemistry and Biology (Molecular Biology) from Gothenburg University, Gothenburg, Sweden.

Research Intrest

Oil accumulation in oil seed crops in general and Camelina sativa specifically; Identification of enzymes of the triacylglycerol synthesis; Role autophagy plays for lipid synthesis.
