Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from Santa Úrsula University (2003), Master's degree (2006) and PhD (2008) in Cellular and Molecular Biology, IOC, Oswaldo Cruz Foundation, postdoctoral degree from the Institute of Medical Biochemistry, Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. He is currently a researcher at the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation, a level 2 productivity grant from CNPq and a Young Scientist from Our State by FAPERJ. He is permanent advisor of the Graduate in Cellular and Molecular Biology, IOC, and postgraduate collaborator in Parasitary Biology. He has experience in the area of ​​Parasitology, with emphasis on Parasitic Animal Protozoology, acting mainly on the following subjects: Trypanosoma cruzi, chemotherapy, Chagas' disease, electron microscopy, high resolution oxigraphy, cell death, autophagy, mitochondria, oxidative stress and naftoquinones.
