Biography

The researcher has a degree in Biological Sciences from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (2001), a Master's degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology from the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation (2003) and a PhD in Cell and Molecular Biology from Fundação Oswaldo Cruz (2006). He has experience in the field of Biophysics, Immunology and Cell Biology with emphasis in Biophysics, acting mainly in the following subjects: p2x7 receptor, electrophysiology, pore formation, calcium and immune system.
