Robert “Bob” Preti is PCT’s co-founder and the visionary behind its successful growth and development strategy over much of the last two decades. Upon PCT’s acquisition by Hitachi Chemical Co. America, Ltd. (Hitachi Chemical’s consolidated subsidiary) in May 2017, Bob’s role expanded to Chief Executive Officer and President of PCT, responsible for development, management and oversight of the global business operations of Hitachi Chemical’s regenerative medicine business unit.He has published and presented extensively on a variety of topics relating to cellular therapies. He recently completed a five year term as a director for AABB, and is currently Chairman for the Alliance for Regenerative Medicine (ARM), where, among other activities, he previously served as Vice Chairman from 2015 to 2016 and co-chaired the Standards and Technology Committee. Bob holds a BS degree in biology from Fordham University, and a MS degree and Doctorate, both in biology, from New York University
