Biography

He holds a bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from UNICAMP (1995), a Master's degree in Functional and Molecular Biology (1996) and a PhD in Biochemistry from UFRJ (2001). He is a Senior Researcher at the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation and a member of the Rio de Janeiro Proteomics Network. He has experience in the field of Biochemistry, with emphasis on Proteins, working mainly in the area of ​​Toxinology in topics related to natural resistance to venom of snakes as well as toxins of the poisons in question. It presents theoretical-practical proficiency in proteomic technology and uses it as a tool for collaborative studies in several areas of knowledge.
