Biography

He holds a bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (2000), a Master's Degree in Biological Sciences (Biophysics) from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (2001) and a PhD in Biological Sciences (Biophysics) from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro ). I have experience in Animal Genetics and Molecular Entomology, with emphasis on Molecular Biology of Insect Development (theme of my master's thesis and doctoral thesis) and Molecular Genetics of Behavior of Vector Insects. I am currently an Adjunct Researcher at the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation and head of the Laboratory of Molecular Biology of Insects. Our group is focused on projects related to the circadian rhythm and genetics of vector insect populations.
