He has extensive training and expertise in studying the molecular mechanisms and devising treatments for human diseases like cancer and chronic inflammatory diseases such as asthma, atherosclerosis, inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), arthritis and multiple sclerosis in both in vivo and in vitro models.
