Mason is the medical director of the largest multidisciplinary treatment centre for brain tumors in Canada. In addition to his clinical and research activities at the Princess Margaret Hospital, He is also the chair of the brain disease site group of the NCIC Clinical Trials Group. Dr. Mason graduated in medicine from the University of Toronto, and completed residences in Internal Medicine and Neurology at the University of Toronto and McGill University, Montreal. He received fellowship training in neurooncology at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York.
