Biography

She has done her graduation studies at the Biosciences Institute of the State University of Sao Paulo and became a Biologist in 2000. She received her MSc degree in 2003 and PhD degree in 2007, both in Oncology (Cancer Genomics), at Fundação Antonio Prudente. In 2007, she started working at Recepta Biopharma company as a post-doctoral fellow working with the generation of monoclonal antibodies for cancer treatment. In 2011, she joined a Post-doc position at Ludwig Institute for Cancer Research and started working with the identification and characterization of cancer-related genes by next generation sequencing and bioinformatic analysis. She is currently a research scientist at the Molecular Oncology Center at Hospital Sírio-Libanês, Brazil.
