Biography

Petr Anděl earned his Mgr. in international territorial studies and Ph.D. in modern history, both at the Charles University in Prague, at the Faculty of Social Sciences. His research interests are connected with international relations, security studies and modern history. Petr Anděl has published on topics related to the Cold War, NATO and the post-Cold War NATO enlargement. Along with his academic activities that include teaching and accrediting study programs for the Charles University in Prague, he has worked for other subjects on several projects co-financed from the European Structural Funds. He also works at the Czech National Library of Technology in Department of Specialized Academic Services.
