Biography

Dr. Mirutse Giday is an academic staff member of the Aklilu Lemma Institute of Pathobiology (ALIPB), Addis Ababa University (AAU). ALIPB is a biomedical research institute mainly involved in research and graduate teaching. Dr. Giday has PhD in botanical sciences from Addis Ababa University (AAU), MSc in biodiversity management from the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences and BSc in biology from AAU. At AAU, he has more 20 years of teaching and research experience. Dr. Giday is currently serving the Institute as head of Endod and Other Medicinal Plants Research Unit. At the institute, Dr. Giday runs a number of projects related to ethnobotany and medicinal plant research. Dr. Giday has published several articles in reputable scientific journals.
