Biography

MIKHALENKO VLADIMIR done DEGREE: D.Sc. and working as Senior Research Scientist in the Department of Glaciology.Doctor of Sciences (Geography), glaciologist and paleoclimatologist, specialized in ice core drilling and high resolution paleoclimate reconstruction research.His research has propelled the field of ice core paleoclimatology out of the Polar Regions to the highest tropical and subtropical ice fields. He has published more than 100 scientific papers (Science, Journal of Glaciology, Cold Regions Science and Technology, The Cryosphereetc.)Member of editorial board of the Snow and Ice Magazine.
