Menelas (Mene) was appointed Executive Vice-President, IMED Biotech Unit in January 2013 and leads AstraZeneca’s small molecule research and early development activities. In 2016 Mene was also made Global Head of Business Development. Mene joined AstraZeneca from Pfizer, where he was Senior Vice-President and Chief Scientific Officer of Neuroscience Research. Previously, he held senior discovery and neuroscience roles at Wyeth and GSK.
