Biography

Dr.Matthias Wilmanns is the Senior Scientist at European Molecular Biology Laboratory, Hamburg Unit, Notkestrasse 85, 22607 Hamburg, Germany and University of Hamburg Clinical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf, Martinistrasse 52, 20246 Hamburg, Germany.  He had his PhD from University of Basel in 1990 and Postdoctoral research at the University of California, Los Angeles.He was the Group leader at EMBL Heidelberg in  1993-1997and Head of EMBL Hamburg since 1997.  He is the Research Director of the Center for Structural Systems Biology (CSSB) since 2014. He has more than 160 publications.
