Biography

He holds a degree in Pharmacy and Biochemistry from the State University of Londrina (1976), a Masters in Parasitary Biology from the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation (1983), a PhD in Microbiology from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (1992) and a postdoctoral degree from the Protection Agency the Health of England. He is currently a researcher at the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation. She has experience in the area of ​​Microbiology, with emphasis on Virology, working mainly on the following topics: measles, rubella, influenza and respiratory syncytial virus. Consultant of the World Health Organization (WHO) and member of several Committees and Working Groups of the Ministry of Health and WHO.
