Biography

He holds a bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences -Medical Modality from the University of Rio de Janeiro (1998), a master's degree (2001) and a PhD (2004) in Cellular and Molecular Biology from Fundação Oswaldo Cruz. Currently she is an associate researcher - FIOCRUZ of the Laboratory of Functional Genomics and Bioinformatics / IOC. She was one of the general coordinators of the Integrated Program for Chagas Disease (IPDC) linked to FIOCRUZ's Vice Presidency of Research and Reference Laboratories from 2011 to 2014. She is a permanent lecturer in the Postgraduate Program in Cell and Molecular Biology of IOC / FIOCRUZ. He has experience in Cell Biology, Proteomics and Cellular Immunology, working mainly on the following topics: Trypanosoma cruzi, Chagas disease, TGF-beta, fibrosis, myocarditis, aptameros and cancer
