Currently, post-doc of the Vaccine Development Center of GSK - Siena / Itàlia. Senior Technologist at the Oswaldo Cruz / Bio-Manguinhos Foundation and Manager of the Recombinant Technology Laboratory at Bio-Manguinhos of the Vice-Diretoria de Desenvolvimento Tecnológico where several technological development projects are developed in the area of ​​expression of recombinant proteins applied to vaccines, diagnosis and biopharmaceuticals. In this position, he leads a group of 22 professionals, with 09 doctors, 03 masters, 03 doctoral students and 03 master's degrees, 03 technicians and 03 students of scientific initiation. Has experience in the field of prokaryotic genetics, expression and purification of recombinant proteins, with emphasis on development of Vaccines and Diagnosis. Acting mainly on the following topics: Production and optimization of recombinant proteins, Leptospirosis, S. pneumoniae, Mycobacterium bovis BCG and Bordetella pertussis.
