Mr. Lucio Rovati joined Rottapharm in 1985 as Chief of the Clinical Pharmacology Department. Since 2008, he has been Vice Chairman and Chief Scientific Officer, where he is responsible for coordinating our R&D activities, and Executive Medical Director, where is he responsible for all medical activities. With effect as from the Trading Date, he will act as Deputy Vice Chairman and Chief Scientific Officer of the Group. He was appointed as Visiting Professor at the University of Milano Bicocca School of Medicine in 2003. He holds a degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Milano, with specialization in Clinical Pharmacology.
