Research Intrest

My research activities are centered on the magnetic signal created within the liquid core of the Earth. Over a wide range of space and time scales, this signal probes in depth the structure, dynamics and geological evolution of our planet. Understanding geodynamo is a formidable fundamental challenge of Physical Sciences and Earth Sciences. Forecasting the future evolution of the geomagnetic field also has important societal applications, because natural magnetism interacts with living beings and with human technological activities.
