Biography

Dr. José Federico Del Río Portilla is working as a Researcher in the Department of Biomacromolecules in National Autonomous University of Mexico, Mexico. he has completed his Postdoctoral position: Harvard Medical School, from 1996-1998. Structural elucidation of proteins by NMR, Ph.D. Physical Chemistry, National Autonomous University of Mexico, 1995. Visiting scholar. Two years at Cambridge University, England, 1992-1994, M. Sci. and B. Sci.: National Autonomous University of Mexico, Sabbatical leave at Harvard and California Universities. he honored with Member of the National Research System since 1994.

Research Intrest

Dr. José Federico Del Río Portilla focused on Determination of the structure of scorpion toxins by RMN. Application of accurate measuring to coupling constants in nuclear magnetic resonance. Development of new techniques in nuclear magnetic resonance. Use of novel pulse sequences for the structural elucidation of proteins.
