Jean Botti has significant experience in high-tech industries. Before joining Philips in 2016, he served as Chief Technical Officer at Airbus Group; he also worked in Renault and General Motors. Jean Botti is as a senator in German Academy of Science and Engineering. He is also a member at the National Academy of Technologies of France, a Fellow of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, a member of the French National Air and Space Academy and a member of the Federation of German Industries’ Technical Committee. Dr. Botti holds 31 patents. He is a recipient of both the French National Order of the Legion of Honor and the French Medal of Aeronautics. Research interests: aeronautics and space, mechanical engineering.
