Biography

Janusz Salamon, M.Phil. (Oxford University), Ph.D. (Jagiellonian University) is a philosopher specializing in global ethics and cross-cultural value theory. As the Editor-in-Chief of the ‘European Journal for Philosophy of Religion’, Vice-President of the European Society for Philosophy of Religion and the editor of the book series ‘Bloomsbury Studies in Global Ethics’ (published by the Bloomsbury Publishing of London) he is involved in the search for constructive solutions to the challenge of the axiological and religious pluralism which threatens a peaceful coexistence of humanity in the global age. He is a full-time member of the Faculty of Social Sciences at Charles University in Prague.
