Biography

 Mr. Thurman is a graduate from Georgia Tech with a degree in chemical engineering. After spending several years overseas working on development projects, he returned to the United States to begin a career in wastewater and pollution management. With a vision for sustainable resource management, his path led him to CES in 1995 where he is now a Principal Engineer. His work is focused on the treatment and management of wastewater from municipal and industrial sources including electrical power generation, coal bed methane production, food processing and others. He has participated and completed numerous industrial water reuse/recycling projects across the United States and internationally. Mr. Thurman heads CES’ international program as the Director of Valmont Water Management Group (VWMG).
