Biography

GRACHEVA RAISA completed her Ph.D. and working as Scientific Researcher in the Department of Soil Geography and Evolution. Study areas are Far East, the Caucasus, East European Plain, Northern Appalachians, Stara Planina.

Research Intrest

Soil genesis and geography; mountain soils and ecosystems; natural hazards as soil forming factors in the mountains; land use transformation; human society - mountain environment interrelations; evolution of hydromorphic soils and landscapes.
