Biography

Born 04/04/1978 Has been working at the Institute of Geography of the Russian Academy of Sciences since 2000. He graduated from the Faculty of Geography of Moscow State University in 2000 (Department of Biogeography). In 2003 he graduated from full-time postgraduate study at the Institute of Geography of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Member of the Working Group on Anseriformes of Northern Eurasia. Is engaged in the study of the structure and dynamics of the distribution areas of the Anseriformes of the East Atlantic Flyway. It studies the area as a whole (nesting places, span and wintering grounds). Is engaged in the assessment of waterbird resources and their use.

Research Intrest

Zoogeography, ecology, ornithology, GIS-systems, arctic ecosystems, ecological expertise.
