Biography

Francisco Javier Ocampo Torres is a Principal Researcher from Department of Physical Oceanography in Center for Scientific Research and Higher Education Ensenada. He is currently handling projects • The impact of wave-current interaction on the evolution of the directional wave spectrum and field currents on the continental shelf. • Implementation of oceanographic (physical, geochemical, ecological) observations networks for the generation of scenarios to possible Contingencies related to the exploration and production of hydrocarbons in deep waters of the gulf of mexico • Oceanographic observation platforms • Establishment of observatories of the marine environment through a network of oceanographic boyas and sediment traps in the gulf of mexico. line 1 • Acquisition, processing and distribution of bio-optical properties and the color of the top sea layer and the surface characteristics of the surface, Acquired with satellite sensors, and their application in the study of biogeochemical processes, the interaction between • Growth of the sewage limited by the fetch in the presence of swell and of currents (continued from 000000000189455) • Key aspects for predicting waves in the coastal region • Coordination of the postgraduate course in physical oceanography
