Biography

Dr. Francesc Canals is currently working as a Head of the Proteomics Laboratory, He collaborates with research groups from VHIO, UAB, CNIC and Genyo. in the Department of Proteomics, Vall d'Hebron Institute of Oncology , Spain. His research interests includes tumor progression and metastasis, proteomic analysis.. He is serving as an editorial member and reviewer of several international reputed journals. Dr. Francesc Canals is the member of many international affiliations. He has successfully completed his Administrative responsibilities. He has authored of many research articles/books related to tumor progression and metastasis, proteomic analysis..

Research Intrest

Application of proteomics techniques to the identification and characterization of metalloprotease substrates implicated in tumor progression and metastasis. Use of proteomic techniques for the screening and the validation of biomarkers for cancer diagnostics, personalized treatment and monitoring Development of new strategies for proteomic analysis.
