Biography

Graduated in Veterinary Medicine from the Federal Fluminense University (2004), Master (2007) and PhD (2011) in Clinical Research in Infectious Diseases at IPEC-FIOCRUZ. It is currently serving the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation (2013), technologist role in public health, and permanent member of CLIOC (Collection of Leishmania of the Instituto Oswaldo Cruz) and LRNTL (National Reference Laboratory for Leishmania typing). technician responsible for the Performance of External Evaluation Program in the microscopic diagnosis of leishmaniasis, Regional Reference Laboratory in Genetic identification and sequencing of the Leishmania species Leishmaniasis Control Program PAHO / WHO. Professor of Immunoparasitology (immunology, Medical microbiology and medical parasitology) of the 2nd year of the School of Medicine of the Technical-Educational Foundation Souza Marques (2008). It has experience in medicine and veterinary medicine, with an emphasis on clinical and pathology research, acting on the following topics: cellular immune response Evaluation in Canine Visceral Leishmaniasis, Cutaneous Leishmaniasis and sporotrichosis, skin immunity and immunohistochemistry
