Biography

He holds a bachelor's degree in Microbiology and Immunology from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (1999), a Master's Degree in Biological Sciences (Microbiology, UFRJ - 2002) and a Doctorate in Sciences (Microbiology, UFRJ - 2006). He has experience in Microbiology, with emphasis on Virology, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology and Bioinformatics. It works mainly in the following subjects: Molecular Epidemiology, Genomic and Evolution of Arbovirus; Diagnostic Development; Molecular Typing of Viral and Bacterial Infectious Agents; Immunogenetics. Since 2008 she has been a Researcher in Public Health (Associate III) of the Leônidas and Maria Deane Institute (ILMD), a technical-scientific unit of Fiocruz in the state of Amazonas. He is the manager of the Real-Time PCR (RPT09G) and Genomic (RPT01H) subunits of the Technological Platforms Network of the Technological Development Program for Health Inputs (PDTIS-Fiocruz) and member of the Technical Research Chamber of the Vice Presidency of Research and Fiocruz Reference Laboratories (VPPLR). He is a permanent lecturer at the Stricto sensu Postgraduate Program in Basic and Applied Immunology (PPGIBA - UFAM, CAPES: Biological Sciences III, note 4) since 2009. He is also a permanent lecturer at the Stricto sensu Postgraduate Program in Interaction Biology Pathogenic Host (Bio-Interaction - ILMD / Fiocruz, CAPES area: Biological Sciences III, note 3) and Cellular and Molecular Biology (PGBCM - IOC / Fiocruz, area CAPES: Biological Sciences II, note 7). He is a reviewer of eight indexed journals of international circulation
