Biography

Dr. Erin Ulrich is an Assistant Professor of Social and Administrative Sciences at Drake University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences.  Erin has always been interested in entrepreneurship since she was young.  Gathering knowledge and personal success through elevator pitch and business plan writing competitions, she was able to design diabetes management services for a chain pharmacy while in graduate school at the University of Michigan.   She grew up watching her uncle make many changes in his own independent rural community pharmacy.  Not only have these changes been exciting and complicated due to the geographical and cultural context of rural living, but also they have influenced her research and passions.  Her interests within entrepreneurism lie in sustainable business models for rural area.
