Emma has been with BioPacific Partners since the beginning. Emma leads BioPacific’s consumer health work, and is involved in our work with pharmaceutical companies. Her role includes asset discovery, technology assessment, risk assessment, deal creation, market analysis, and liaison and relationship management. Emma has a Bachelor of Science in Biomedicine, with an Honours based on her work studying the immunological mechanisms of gout. She also has a Masters of Bioscience Enterprise, with a research focus on Singapore’s startup ecosystem. Alongside her work at BioPacific, Emma is part of the Asia New Zealand Foundation Leadership Network, which develops and maintains strong links between Asia and New Zealand. She is also on the Executive Committee of her Toastmasters club and is involved with Valens group, an organisation that supports gender diversity in leadership positions. Emma has a keen interest in astronomy and in the evening can often be found pointing out constellations to those around her, willing or otherwise.
