Isotope geochemistry and cosmochemistry. Origin and differentiation of terrestrial planets. • Application of stable isotope systems (e.g. Si, Rb, Zn) to current problems in cosmochemistry (planetary accretion and core formation, nucleosynthetic anomalies) and geochemistry (composition and evolution of the mantle and core) • Development of new analytical techniques for the isotopic analysis of terrestrial, meteoritic, and synthetic samples by Multi-Collector Inductively-Coupled-Plasma Mass-Spectrometry and Thermal Ionization Mass-Spectrometry
