Biography

He holds a Ph.D. in Biological Chemistry from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (2006) and a PhD in the Laboratory of Biochemistry. He holds a PhD in Biological Chemistry from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (2001). Cell Biochemistry of the Institute of Medical Biochemistry (2006 - 2008). He is a permanent lecturer in the postgraduate program in Cellular and Molecular Biology of the Oswaldo Cruz Institute. He has experience in the field of Natural Compounds with emphasis on Bioactive Compounds, Anti-Leishmania Chemotherapy, Molecular Targeting, Metabolism and Bioenergetics, working mainly on the following topics: Flavonoids, Leishmania, Reactive Oxygen Species, PKC, Mitochondria, Programmed Cell Death and Cell Signaling

Bioactive Compounds, Anti-Leishmania Chemotherapy, Molecular Targeting, Metabolism and Bioenergetics, working mainly on the following topics: Flavonoids, Leishmania, Reactive Oxygen Species, PKC, Mitochondria, Programmed Cell Death and Cell Signaling
