She has both an academic and industrial research experience and she is interested in the application of basic science to the development of a pharmaceutical product that will be useful to improve public health. She has more than seven years of experience in pharmaceutical industry, acquired both as PhD student and post-doctoral researcher in Novartis Vaccines and then GSK, working on vaccine antigens characterization and host-pathogen interaction. She is an expert in molecular and cellular biology techniques, bacterial manipulation and genetic engineering, recently applied to the development of multivalent protein nanoparticles for vaccine antigen delivery. She like challenges and exploring new aspects/approaches to biological questions with the help of the latest technologies in the field. She is a highly motivated independent researcher, focused on data quality and with creative problem solving skills, able to successfully design and perform research project to final data analysis/interpretation. She is a great team player and she have experience in coordinating people to reach work objectives within deadlines. She has excellent communication and presentation skills, demonstrated by scientific publications and participation to international conferences.
