Biography

He holds a bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from the Gama Filho University (1991), a Master's degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology from the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation (1997) and a PhD in Cell and Molecular Biology from the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation (2005). He is an Associate Researcher at the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation. Has experience in the field of cellular biology, with emphasis on screening of antiparasitic compounds using in vitro and in vivo models. Currently works in the area of ​​morphology and viral morphogenesis, evaluating aspects of the cellular response to dengue virus infection and antiviral activity of natural products.
