He is currently Researcher at Oswaldo Cruz / Fiocruz Institute and Coordinator of the Integrated Nucleus of Cardiovascular Research of the National Institute of Cardiology, Rio de Janeiro. He has experience in experimental and clinical pharmacology, working mainly in the following subjects: cardiovascular physiology and pharmacology, natural products pharmacology, Microvascular reactivity in cardiometabolic diseases (hypertension and diabetes).
