Graduated in Biological Sciences and in Medicine and Surgery and specializing in Rheumatology, he is a doctor, university professor and journalist. Director since 1979 of the Diagnostic Institute "Raffaele De Blasi" created and named after his master, in 1990 he founded the periodical Qui Reggio and since 1998 he is publisher of the television station Reggiotv. Speaker at numerous national and international conferences of a scientific and political nature, he is the promoter of various social and cultural activities, including the foundation of the Reggio Calabria Symphony Orchestra. Candidated in 1994 to the Senate of the Republic with the Progressista's Charger, in 1996, he was elected as Coordinator of the Prodi Committees for Calabria, was nominated for the 1996 elections.
