Biography

Warren Jin is a member of Statistical Computing and Data Modelling team, in the Software & Computational System program of Data61. He is an Adjunct Fellow, College of Engineering and Computer Science, ANU (More please see his ANU home page http://users.cecs.anu.edu.au/~hdjin/ or http://people.cecs.anu.edu.au/user/1052).He was trained in Applied Mathematics (with emphasis in Statistics) and Computer Science (data mining). His research interests include statistical computation and modeling, data mining, and machine learning as well as their applications. He authored/co-authored in 70+ peer-reviewed publications in international journals/conferences, most of which were indexed by SCI. He also got involved in about 30 technical reports. His research output has received several best paper/innovation awards.
