Vishnu Lal Sharma is a Senior Principal Scientist of Medicinal & Process Chemistry, Central Drug Research Institute, Lucknow. Medicinal Chemistry (Reproductive health area):The research focused in my group is related to design and synthesis of small molecule libraries for spermicidal, anti-STI and endocrine related anti-cancer activities. image01 Synthetic organic chemistry and Process chemistry,Many organo sulfur compounds are widely used as intermediates to furnish bio-active molecules whereas cyclic thiocarbonates are extensively used in polymer science. We are here engaged in development of new methodologies for sulfur containing organo intermediates. Further our group has also actively engaged in the development of process technologies of candidate drugs.
