Biography

  Dr. Ritu Trivedi works as a senior scientist and principle investigator at division of endocrinology, CSIR-Central Drug Research Institute, Lucknow.  She also contributes in shaping future of many research scholars and research aspirant by taking care of important administrative and academic responsibilities in Academy-CSIR at Lucknow. Dr. Trivedi is a doctorate from Sanjai Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences; Lucknow.  Later, she worked as postdoctoral researcher at prestigious National Institute of Health, Bethesda, Maryland, USA. Research Intrest

Potential new drug targets for osteoporosis, Role of miRNAs responsible for bone mass reversal at the time of weaning. Relationship between fat and bone mass in high fat diet (HFD) induced osteoporosis model. We hypothesize that HFD aggravates ovariectomy related complications, Development of novel delivery system for bone, Bone growth mechanisms and regulation including nutritional intervention that includes understanding the mechanism for normal bone growth and simultaneously focusing on understanding the growth plate biology.
