Biography

Dr. Ricardo Jorge Cárdenas Pérez is fully researcher in the university of chemistry. he has completed his B.Sc. in Chemistry from the School of Chemistry, UNAM. Master in Science, Faculty of Chemical and Industrial Sciences, University of Morelos.Ph.D. in Chemistry (Organic Chemistry). he honored with Scholar Grant, National University of Mexico: 1997-2002, Member of the National Research System.

Research Intrest

Dr. Ricardo Jorge Cárdenas Pérez focused on Chemical study of Mexican flora, isolation and structural determination of secondary metabolites and analysis of its biogenetic and chemotaxonomic implications. Synthesis of Natural Products, Determination of reaction intermediaries using 1H, 13C and multinuclear nuclear magnetic resonance, to propose reaction mechanisms, Development and application of new synthetic methodologies, in particular on natural and non-natural cyclopeptides and cyclodesipeptides.
