Dr. Raul G. Enriquez Habib is the Faculty of Chemistry, UNAM, 1970, Chemical degree (Honors) with the thesis: Application of Nuclear Magnetic Resonance in Structure Determination. Allyl derivates of cyclohexane-1 ,3-dione. Ph.D. in Chemistry from the FQ-UNAM. Postdoc at the University of Essex, England; collaboration with the University of Toronto since 1985. Researcher "C" TC (1991), level "D" in PRIDE, National Researcher (SNI) III until 2018, international index H = 18. He was Technical Secretary of the Institute of Chemistry, representant of the Department of Chemistry at the Mexican Academy of Sciences and Secretary of the Chemical Society of Mexico for 5 years. he honored with National Chemistry Award, 1994, Level III Researcher for a 10 year period (until 2018), Honorary Professor, University of Arkansas, 2009.
Dr. Raul G. Enriquez Habib focused on Organic Structural study of Natural Products by NMR, Synthetic transformations of natural products in search of bioactive substances, Analytical studies of Medicinal Plants from the Medicinal flora of Mexico, Application and design of pulse NMR methods for studying organic structures of natural products, Spectroscopic and analytical methods for the study of secondary metabolites of interest in the health field.
