Decoding present and past environmental/ climatic variations using isotopic ratio tracers (e.g. 15N/14N, 13C/12C, 2H/1Hand 18O/16O, 34S/32S) in conjunction with other traditional biological/ geological/ meteorological variables. Studies dealing with understanding natural climate variability of the planet earth in the recent past to nurture retrieval of anthropogenic forcing of climate. Multi-elemental stable isotopic (CNS) characterization of atmospheric particulates (aerosols collected on filters), particulate matter in aquatic environments and modern sediments to study Carbon, Nitrogen and Sulfur cycling.
