Philip Skuce is a Principal Scientist at Moredun. He is a graduate of Queens University, Belfast, where he gained a PhD in Parasitology. He continued his research at the Veterinary Sciences Division, Stormont, before joining Moredun in 1995.
His research interests are in the diagnosis and control of parasitic diseases in livestock, specifically roundworm and fluke infections and the detection and management of anthelmintic resistance. He also has interests in livestock and climate change and is the Knowledge Exchange Sectorial Lead for Livestock in the new Scottish Government Strategic Research Programme.
