Biography

Current Occupation: Lecturer in Animal Physiology and Nutrition at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology. Academic Credentials: a) Master of Science degree (M.Sc) in Animal Production, Nutrition Option (1992), University of Nairobi. b) Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine degree (BVM, 1987), University of Nairobi.

Research Intrest

a) Utilization of non-conventional feed resources in commercial aquaculture and non-ruminant livestock. Undertaking PhD entitled “Effects of phytase and fiber hydrolyzing enzymes on growth and body tissue composition of the African catfish (Clarias gariepinus Burchell, 1822 ) fed diets containing sorghum and rice bran”. b) Professional Membership: a) Registered as a Veterinary surgeon by the Kenya Veterinary Board. b) Member of the Kenya Veterinary Assocoiation. c) Member of the Physiological society of Kenya.
