Abdulmajeed S H AlSamarrai was awarded a BSc in chemistry by the Mosul University of Iraq and MSc in analytical chemistry , by Baghdad University of Iraq and was awarded a PhD in organic chemistry by university of Birmingham/ UK in 1984. He is an assistant professor, department of chemistry, Tikrit university , Iraq (1991-2001). Then since 2001, he is a faculty member in the department of chemistry at the University of Samarra, Iraq and he is working as a professor of organic chemistry.
