Research Fields: Our laboratory has as long term goal the understanding of how the molecular and cellular mechanisms are undertaken during embryonic brain development. In particular, We are interested in the search and analysis of the early regionalization and specification, proliferation and differentiation of the vertebrate neural tube during early embryogenesis Research fields: * Early regionalization of the mammalian neural tube using organotypic brain tissue explant culture techniques. * Expression pattern analysis of brain genes and their functional relevance within the neural secondary organizers development and specification.
