He received a PhD degree in Physics from the University of Montpellier in 2000 for his work on AlGaN-based UV-photo-detectors. Since 2007, he is involved in the development of AlGaN-based UV-LED and he is currently in charge of the crystal growth section at NIKKISO Co., Ltd for the production of UV LED epitaxial wafers.
